Directions, Fort William, 2020
A socially engaged one-off walking project inspired by the methods of psychogeography.
3 participants, 1 artist and 1 dog. Taking it in turns to decide which way to go at each junction point, where do we end up and how do we experience our familiar local environment?
As a response to the slight easing of restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic in June 2020, I set out on a quest to see if I could engage participants more directly with the decision making process around deciding where to go whilst walking- with no predetermined route in mind before setting off.
